Job Title: Civils Site Manager - Highways Paving & Surfacing Project

Location: Shipley

Salary: -255 - -305 per day CIS

• Project running from 24th August to the end of November.
• Monday to Friday, day shifts.
• High-profile highways paving and surfacing project in Shipley.
• Firm completion deadline ahead of the Christmas period to minimise disruption.

Role Overview:
We''re looking for an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee a highways paving and surfacing project in Shipley. This is a busy role requiring strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience managing highways or civil engineering projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in busy town centre or public-facing environments is advantageous.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates.
• NRSWA or Temp works card advantageous
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate paving and surfacing works.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
• Liaise with local businesses and shop owners to minimise disruption.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams.
• Maintain site records and ensure compliance with health & safety requirements.
