Not just reviewing drawings or attending meetings — but actually being there, walking the job, spotting issues early, and making sure things are done right first time. The role in a nutshell You’ll be the go-to person across multiple sites when it comes to groundworks and civil engineering. That means: • Picking up on quality issues before they become problems • Challenging methods that aren’t efficient or cost-effective • Working closely with subcontractors to keep things moving properly • Making sure earthworks and infrastructure are delivered as they should be There’s support around you — this isn’t a lone wolf role — but you’ll be trusted to use your judgement and experience to influence how sites are delivered.
