We are seeking dedicated and experienced Civil Engineering Foreman to oversee and manage our team on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, coordinating tasks among team members, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and manage a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Plan and assign daily tasks to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Monitor work progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Facilitate communication between team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and mentorship to new employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the civil engineering industry
- Valid SSSTS
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is essential.
- A valid driver''s licence may be required for site visits or travel between locations.
