Civils Director - Rail and Infrastructure

Our client, a leader in the rail and infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Civils Director to join their team in the Yorkshire/North of England region (Leeds/York preferred).Key Responsibilities:Building a Regional BusinessEstablish and grow a new Northern presence.Develop and execute the regional growth strategy.Build a high-performing engineering and project delivery team.Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.Winning and Growing ClientsIdentify and secure opportunities across rail and infrastructure markets.Build long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.Lead fee proposals, bids, negotiations, and framework pursuits.Represent the business across industry events and networking forums.Leading Project DeliveryOversee the successful delivery of multidisciplinary rail and infrastructure projects.Provide technical leadership and assurance across engineering outputs.Act as CRE/CEM where required.Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.Commercial LeadershipTake ownership of regional financial performance.Manage forecasting, resource planning, and recruitment.Drive sustainable growth and profitability.Support compliance with industry standards including RISQS and ISO requirements.Developing PeopleMentor engineers and future leaders.Create career pathways and professional development opportunities.Share technical expertise and promote engineering excellence across the business.Job ..... full job details .....
