Civils and Groundworks Supervisor - MidlandsLocation: Midlands - multiple sitesContract: Temp to Perm - permanent opportunity after 12 weeksSector: Civils and Groundworks - Residential and CommercialFawkes and Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils and Groundworks Supervisor to join an established contractor delivering groundworks and civil engineering packages across residential and commercial projects throughout the Midlands.This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the successful candidate initially working on a 12-week temporary basis before moving into a permanent position.The RoleYou will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and delivery of groundworks and civils packages, including:Managing site operatives, groundworkers, plant and subcontractorsOverseeing groundworks packages from initial stages through to completionManaging drainage, foundations, roads, sewers, external works and associated civilsEnsuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required qualityCoordinating labour, plant and materialsReading and working from construction drawingsConducting site briefings and toolbox talksEnsuring RAMS are implemented correctlyMonitoring quality and completing relevant QA documentationLiaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers and clientsMaintaining high health and safety standards across siteRequirementsBlack CSCS Manager Card - essentialSMSTS - essentialFirst Aid at Work - preferredTemporary Works Supervisor - ..... full job details .....
