Civilian Investigators

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PIP 1 Civilian Investigator to work for Lincolnshire Police at Grantham Police Station.Lincolnshire Police are looking for investigators to work within the Protecting Vulnerable Persons PVP at Grantham.This role attracts a shift allowance, which will be determined based on the actual hours and pattern worked. Full details will be confirmed at the offer stage.PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS - To prepare and complete files in accordance with court deadlines, legislation, and force policy, ensuring that crimes under investigation are compliant with Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) and the Victims Code of PracticeROLE RESPONSIBILITIESTo respond effectively to all reports of serious and complex crimeTo take ownership of serious and complex criminal investigations. To develop and record proportionate investigation plans and strategies. To prioritise lines of enquiry, maximising the gathering of material by securing and preserving evidence under minimum supervision.
