About the Role

RGB seeks a Civil Technician in Redruth on a permanent contract, paying £25,500 to £35,000 yearly, with free parking provided. This engineering consultancy welcomes applicants with or without prior experience. The successful candidate joins a busy design group, supported by another regional office, comprising engineers, apprentices and technicians. Duties cover drainage strategy, highway and infrastructure design, water engineering, structural work and transport planning. Projects span public and private sectors, including housing, highways and local authority schemes. Applicants should show competence in relevant design software, technical drawing, problem solving and teamwork. Training and mentorship are available for those starting out.

Excellent opportunity to join a thriving engineering consultancy in Redruth. We are looking for Civil Technicians, with no experience needed and/or with experience to join the team.
They are a large engineering company with a consultancy team across all things engineering and project management, who work on:
- Drainage design and strategy
- Highway and infrastructure design
- Water Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Transport Planning
You would be joining a busy team (supported by another regional office), of experienced Engineers, Apprentices and Technicians working on design projects.
Project wise, they are working on a wide range of public and private sector projects, including housing, highways, and local authority projects – including a large housing developments in Cornwall and the surrounding infrastructure.
Full training programme, including Civil3D and AutoCAD – with strong progression routes throughout the company.

- Salary £25,500 - £35,000 – depending on experience.
