Civil Structural Engineer

Responsible Structural / Civil Engineer Lead civil and structural asset integrity at a major manufacturing site Wolviston Management Services is proud to be working in partnership with Tioxide to recruit a Responsible Structural / Civil Engineer for their Greatham site. This is a key engineering role where you will help ensure civil and structural assets are designed, installed, commissioned, maintained, inspected and operated in line with UK legislation, Greatham engineering standards and recognised best practice. You will lead civil and structural asset life planning, manage inspection and repair activity, support capital projects and act as the technical interface with specialist suppliers, inspection companies and competent authorities. What you ll be doing You will: Develop and deliver the site asset life strategy for civil and structural assets. Ensure civil and structural risks are identified, managed and controlled. Support regulatory compliance and asset availability for production. Assist the Responsible Mechanical Engineer with technical responses to the HSE and Environment Agency. Act as the technical interface for civil and structural matters with specialist suppliers and inspection companies. Ensure assets are maintained, inspected, repaired and operated in line with legislation, standards and best practice. Select competent civil and structural companies to work on site.
