Civil / Structural Engineer Our client, a leading consultancy in the engineering sector, is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join their team. This permanent position sits within the energy industry, particularly focusing on substation, distribution, transmission, and power distribution projects.Job Responsibilities:Lead structural engineering design on major energy infrastructure projects.Deliver structural solutions for substations, transmission and distribution facilities, overhead line (OHL) structures, and power stations.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.Manage project delivery, ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and our client''s quality processes.Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs and provide expert guidance.Contribute to business development and proposal writing.Support the development of best practices and innovation within the team.Job Requirements:Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership.Proven experience in structural engineering design and delivery.Experience in one or more of the following: substations, transmission and distribution infrastructure, OHL projects, power stations, petrochemical facilities.Strong understanding of UK design codes and standards.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to lead and inspire teams.Benefits:Work-life ..... full job details .....
