Civil / Structural Engineer

Caralex Recruitment has been asked by a residential developer to find a Civil / Structural Engineer to join their well-established Technical Department. The role will involve appointing, overseeing and managing external civil and structural engineering consultants across a range of residential developments, from initial feasibility through to construction. Ideally, you will have worked for a design consultancy or residential developer. You will assist with the production of layouts and technical reports, brief and commission site investigations, and appoint and manage engineering consultants across a range of design works. You will also coordinate highway and drainage approvals, utilities, and infrastructure design. The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential developments, including RC-frame projects, as well as an understanding of Section 38, Section 104, and Section 278 agreements. Experience with AutoCAD, engineering budgets, and coordinating design teams would be beneficial.
