Civil Project Manager

Astute''s Power team are looking to recruit a Civil Project Manager on an Energy from Waste Project on a 2-3-year contract basis.

Key skills

• Encourage contractor teams to meet project HSEQ requirements, ensuring safety and compliance throughout design and execution phases.
• Oversee the civil project team, allocating tasks and responsibilities to ensure objectives are met on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Ensures coordination with site and line management.
• Define and manage the Civil Project Scope, revise schedules, and monitor progress.
• Take ownership of civil change management and cost control, ensuring project compliance with targets.
• Lead risk assessments, mitigation plans, and progress reporting.
• Organize project meetings and maintains communication plans to ensure efficient information flow.
• Support subcontractor evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Provide input on technical, commercial, and contractual aspects during the tender and execution phases.
• Candidates must hold a university degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must hold previous experience as a Project Manager EPC or Subcontractor Civil Project Manager in the Energy from Waste sector or heavy/industrial civil business.
• Must have experience as a leader in HSEQ and knowledge of HSEQ.
• Must have in-date CSCS/CCNSG Card and SMSTS card.

• 2-3-year contract
• Competitive Day Rate (DOE)
• Outside IR35
