A leading water and wastewater service provider is recruiting a passionate Civil Project Engineer to help shape the future of water and wastewater treatment across the Thames Water framework. This is your chance to be part of something bigger in AMP8, modernising treatment works, delivering essential infrastructure, and protecting the environment for future generations.In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and design through to construction and commissioning.Responsibilities

Leading the design development of multiple water/wastewater network projects from concept through to contract awardIdentifying, analysing, and mitigating project risks to support robust scope definition and pricingOverseeing detailed design work by contractors and managing design changes during constructionSupporting project teams through commissioning and handover phasesConducting design reviews to ensure safe, practical, and operationally sound solutionsActing as the key contact for CDM Designer or Principal Designer duties in early project stagesAbout you

HNC, degree, or master’s qualification in Civil or Mechanical EngineeringChartered Engineer status or actively working towards it through a recognised professional bodyExperience in oil and gas pipelines or multi-utility infrastructure (e.g., fibre optics, electrical cables)Strong knowledge of project delivery in process industriesSolid understanding of Health and Safety regulations within the construction sectorFamiliarity with engineering decision-making processes in industrial settingsReach out to Charlie Knight @ Advance TRS to find out more about this exciting opportunity and take the next step in your career.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
