Job Title: Civil Operative (Competent Person - NSI 6 and 8 / HSG 47) - Substation WorksLocation: Pembroke SubstationRate: 35 per hourJob Description:We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Operative to work on substation projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe and compliant operations within a live HV (High Voltage) substation environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage access to a live HV substation in strict accordance with NG NSI Safety RulesEnsure safe access and egress for delivery vehicles and plant within the substationCarry out general groundworks duties to a high standardMaintain a safe working environment at all timesAdhere to all health and safety regulations, including HSG 47 guidelinesEssential Requirements:Civil Operative (Competent Person) certificationNSI 6 and 8 accreditation (National Grid)Proven experience working within live substationsHSG 47 Manual Handling certificationRelevant groundworks experienceDesirable Information:Candidates must hold all required certifications and tickets - applications without these will not be consideredFull PPE is mandatory prior to starting on siteAdditional Information:Competitive rate of 35 per hourImmediate start available for the right ..... full job details .....
