Civil Monitoring Technician

The team focuses on technical site work, providing reliable fibre optic detection and monitoring systems, ensuring a reliable and consistent performance for our customers. Joining this team offers the opportunity to have a varied role with some travel. Role Description The Monitoring Technician / Engineer / Manager is a full-time role based in Oxford, but with travel to our project sites. Responsibilities include installing monitoring systems and applications, reviewing data and dashboards, interpretation and reporting, and responding promptly to unplanned events on site. Qualifications Civil engineering and/or geotechnical qualifications. Demonstrated experience working with monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting systems to oversee infrastructure, applications, or services. Ability to identify, investigate, and troubleshoot incidents, with a structured approach to root-cause analysis and problem resolution. Strong documentation and reporting skills, including accurate incident logging, clear status updates, and concise communication with stakeholders.
