Salary: -31,000 - -35,500 per annum

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Hours: Full Time, Permanent | 08:00-17:00 (flexibility required)

A leading national provider of environmental and drainage services is looking to recruit an experienced Civils Groundworker to support excavation, drainage, and reinstatement projects across the UK.

This is a hands-on role suited to a dependable and safety-conscious individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while representing the business professionally on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out excavation works, including support of temporary works
• Install drainage systems, manholes, tanks, and ducting
• Undertake backfilling, spoil management, and cold-lay reinstatement (Section 72 compliant)
• Complete maintenance excavations, minor foundation works, and blockage clearance
• Provide accurate job updates using PDA/CRM systems
• Produce site reports with supporting photographs
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and company procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Proven experience in civils, groundworks, or drainage
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Customer-focused with a team-oriented mindset
• Flexible approach to travel and occasional overnight stays
