Civil Foreman

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of specialist civil engineering works across the Highlands, we are looking to recruit an experienced Civil Foreman to join our client, a well-established, privately owned and expanding contractor.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, leading from the front, and taking pride in delivering high-quality work. You''ll be part of a small, close-knit team within a growing business, where your input will genuinely make a difference.
The Role
You will oversee day-to-day site operations across a range of specialist civil engineering projects. Working closely with the Managing Director and engineers, you''ll ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
-Supervising site teams and subcontractors
-Maintaining strict health & safety standards
-Coordinating works to keep projects on track
-Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
-Ensuring quality control with strong attention to detail
-Communicating effectively with engineers, management and clients
This is very much a site-based role, and you must be prepared to be actively involved in day-to-day operations.
What We''re Looking For
-Strong civil engineering background
-Valid SSSTS or SMSTS
-Valid CSCS Card
-Experience as a Foreman or Working Supervisor
-A head for detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
-Confident leading teams on site
-Practical, hands-on approach
-Willingness to work across projects in the Highlands
