We’re working with a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy that is expanding its Christchurch office and looking for a Civil Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer with strong technical foundations and the ambition to grow. You’ll receive mentorship from highly experienced managers while contributing to a wide range of development and infrastructure projects.

The role:

Developing highway and drainage designs for S104, S38 and S278 applications
Contributing to drainage strategies, SuDS design and Flood Risk Assessments
Producing drawings, reports and calculations using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Causeway Flow / MicroDrainage
Supporting project managers with technical inputs to multi-disciplinary schemes
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders to support project delivery
Learning and developing through exposure to varied project work and close mentoring

What we’re looking for:

Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Early consultancy experience in highways and/or drainage design
Familiarity with design standards and UK approvals processes
Technical ability in Civil 3D, Causeway Flow / MicroDrainage, and AutoCAD
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
Ambition to progress towards Chartered status
