About the Role
The Civil Engineer position in Leamington Spa offers a permanent role with a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum. Working within a multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will support the design of civil engineering schemes from initial concept through to detailed design. Your responsibilities include preparing calculations and reports, assisting in managing technical project aspects, and liaising with clients and contractors. The role involves designing roads, drainage, earthworks, and other infrastructure elements across diverse projects such as residential blocks, housing schemes, schools, and commercial developments. This position requires strong technical skills and effective communication to support project delivery.

We are working with a long standing award-winning, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. They deal in Civil and Structural Engineering, Geo-Environmental works, development planning and land and Building Surveying.
Their diverse portfolio includes multi-storey residential blocks, new housing schemes, schools and commercial developments ranging from small individual projects up to multi-million-pound schemes.
The role:
- Support design of civil engineering schemes from initial concept to detailed design. This includes designs of roads, drainage, earthworks, and other infrastructure elements.
- Prepare calculations and reports
- Assist in managing technical aspects of a project
- Liasing with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and conduct surveys to inform design
The perfect candidate will have between 1 to 5 years’ of engineering experience and will have worked for a consultancy developing relevant projects.
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree or HND qualified (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of S38, S104, S185, and S98 Drainage Approvals
- Experience with some of the following: AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroDrainage and PDS
- Knowledge of SuDS
- Willingness to learn
