My client, an innovative, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Civil Engineer with a focus on Flood Risk and Drainage to join their diverse team of engineering and design specialists, near the lively, richly-cultural city of Liverpool. Essential Criteria:An Initial or Higher Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or similar relevant disciplineA specific interest in flood risk and drainageDemonstrable experience of having worked in a design-based role within a consultancyExperience of working with flood risk and drainage strategies, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)Good working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S38, S104, S106, etc.)Competent in the use of Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, and a range of similar software packagesThe ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Civil Engineer to have the following:Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, particularly when applied to report writingAn analytical mindsetStrong technical skillsAs a Civil Engineer, you will be joining a growing team of design consultants, working on a number of high-profile projects across the region.
