Senior Civil Engineer Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid Working Available) A well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join its growing Civil Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Civil Engineer looking to take on a senior role within a collaborative consultancy. you''ll play a key part in delivering a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects while working closely with senior leadership to support the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will have a strong consultancy background, excellent technical ability, and the confidence to manage projects, build client relationships and mentor junior team members. you''ll be involved throughout the project life cycle, from initial feasibility through to detailed design and construction support. The Role you''ll be responsible for delivering a wide variety of civil engineering projects across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities Prepare site appraisals, feasibility studies and provide pre-planning advice. Support development masterplanning and site due diligence. Produce Flood Risk Assessments and Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) strategies. Design civil engineering infrastructure including drainage, underground utilities and external works.
