Civil Engineer – Drainage 106398 Somerset The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineer with at least three years’ post-qualification experience to take ownership of drainage design projects, develop client relationships and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design and construction teams. You will be involved throughout the development process, from initial feasibility studies and drainage strategies through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning. Key Responsibilities Develop drainage solutions for sewage, surface water requirements. Prepare drainage strategies and feasibility studies. Produce detailed drainage designs and construction drawings. Undertake flood risk assessments and apply Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) principles. Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, structural engineers and geotechnical specialists.
