About the Civil Engineer Role;
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer with at least one year of professional experience to join a growing consultancy team in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development projects while developing your technical skills and progressing toward professional chartership.

Key Responsibilities of this Civil Engineer role;

• Assist in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including highways, drainage, and infrastructure works.

• Support senior engineers with technical analysis, calculations, and preparation of drawings and reports.

• Contribute to project planning, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities where required.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements for this Civil Engineer role:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Around 1 year of relevant industry experience (consultancy or design environment preferred).

• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroDrainage (or similar).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop professionally.

• Working toward ICE chartership or willingness to pursue professional accreditation.
