Our client is a well-respected and growing engineering consultancy based near Southampton, seeking a Civil Engineer to join their expanding infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with at least three years'' UK consultancy experience who is looking to develop their career within a business that offers genuine progression opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and an excellent benefits package.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. Working closely with fellow engineers, technicians, clients, and external consultants, the role will involve the design of drainage, highways, and external works infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction.

Applicants should have a strong background in UK development infrastructure projects and be proficient in industry-standard software including InfoDrainage, Civil 3D, Flow, and AutoCAD. Experience producing drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, earthworks designs, and Section 38, Section 104, and Section 278 designs would be highly advantageous. A sound understanding of current UK design standards and approval processes is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong technical ability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to manage project responsibilities and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
