Civil Engineer SheffieldA well-established multidisciplinary Consultancy is seeking a motivated and technically capable Civil Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team in Sheffield. This role offers the chance to take a central position in the design and delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects, spanning highways, drainage, earthworks, public realm works and infrastructure for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.As a Civil Engineer within this progressive Consultancy, you will contribute to projects from initial feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction. You will be responsible for preparing and checking technical designs, drawings, calculations, specifications and reports, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of technical quality, safety and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with in-house Structural Engineers and environmental specialists alongside architects, developers, local authorities, contractors and other stakeholders, helping to produce coordinated, buildable and sustainable engineering solutions.The role will also involve developing drainage strategies, supporting the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, preparing SuDS-based designs and engaging with adopting authorities on Section 278, 38 and 104 agreements.
