Civil Design Engineers - Newcastle

Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers to join their team based out of Newcastle. This is an exciting contract role offering the chance to work on a mix of infrastructure, non-infrastructure, clean water, and waste projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing civil engineering projects within the water sector
• Working on multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water
• Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Preparing detailed engineering designs and technical reports
• Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within regulatory standards
• Offering technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil design engineering, particularly within the water sector
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively on a range of projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
