Civil Design Engineers

Our client, a reputable firm in the water industry, is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers (all grades) for contract roles based in Manchester. These positions offer hybrid working options with the possibility of remote work depending on the candidate''s profile. The roles involve working on projects ranging from sewage treatment works (STW) to clean main renewals and combined sewer overflows (CSOs).Key Responsibilities:Design and review of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects in the clean and waste water sectorsProduce and check detailed designs for STW, clean main renewals, and CSOsLead and oversee the technical design process, ensuring compliance with industry standardsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projectsMaintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of deliverablesJob Requirements:Experience in civil design engineering within the water sectorProficiency in design software and relevant industry standardsStrong understanding of STW, clean main renewals, and CSOsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentEffective communication and leadership skillsFlexibility to work hybrid or remote, depending on project requirementsRelevant engineering degree or equivalent qualificationInitial Projects:Sewage Treatment Works (STW)Clean Main RenewalsCombined Sewer Overflows (CSOs)If you are a skilled ..... full job details .....
