Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Civil Design Engineers to join their dynamic teams in Manchester. and LeedsKey Responsibilities:Lead and contribute to the design of water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, and drainage systemsDevelop concept, outline, and detailed designs in accordance with client specifications and industry regulationsCarry out hydraulic analysis, earthworks design, and structural assessments related to water projectsWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including MEICA, process, and geotechnical engineersEnsure designs meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsAssist in mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidanceEngage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to align project requirementsKey Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineChartered or working towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE) is desirableExperience in civil design for water infrastructure projectsExperience in pipelines, drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concrete structuresProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and/or InfoWorks ICMFamiliarity with UK water industry standards (Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, and Eurocodes)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projectsIf you are an experienced Civil Design Engineer looking for a new contract opportunity in the water sector, we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
