Civil EngineerLocation: Bristol (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office) Rate: £40-£45 per hour Contract Length: Initial 6 monthsAre you a Civil Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design looking for your next contract opportunity in Bristol?We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join an established consultancy team on an initial 6-month contract.The role will suit a hands-on engineer with around 4-5 years'' experience who is comfortable working across a range of civil engineering design disciplines. You will be involved in a varied workload across residential, commercial, industrial, warehouse and laboratory developments.This is a design-focused position with a particular emphasis on drainage, highways and earthworks. The team works closely together in the office, so you will need to be comfortable working from the Bristol office a minimum of three days per week.Key Responsibilities Deliver civil engineering designs across a range of development projects. Produce drainage and sustainable drainage designs and calculations. Undertake highways, external works and infrastructure design. Develop earthworks, levels and site grading designs. Produce and coordinate drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Undertake drainage modelling and design using InfoDrainage. Coordinate civil engineering designs with other disciplines and external consultants. Produce technical design information throughout different stages of projects.
