Field Service Engineer - CHP / Gas EnginesLocation: Field-based - NorthSalary: circa 46,000 + Overtime An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a rapidly expanding power generation business specialising in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, following continued growth and internal progression within the engineering team. The successful CHP Service Engineer will have previous experience working on MAN, MWM or similar equipment and will have a good mechanical and electrical understanding. Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on CHP engines and associated equipment, mainly MAN and MWM.Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults across a range of gas engine installations.Attend breakdowns and provide technical support to customers across your allocated region.Use laptop-based diagnostic software to connect to engine control systems, investigate faults and support troubleshooting.Undertake component replacements, engine repairs and major overhauls as required.Support the reliable and efficient operation of installed CHP equipment across a varied customer base.Complete service reports, maintenance records and associated technical documentation.Work independently in the field, managing your workload and prioritising customer requirements.
