CHP EngineerLocation: Wigan and SurroundingSalary: £40,000 to £47,500 + (OTE £50,000+) + Vehicle + Bonus.Role

The day to day role involves the service, maintenance and repair of large internal combustion engines on one or multiple sites, supporting the grid as backup power. The role will suit someone with experience in mechanical or electrical systems working with engines. The candidate may come from ex-forces, generators, plant, marine or CHP backgrounds. The role includes working alongside experienced Operations Engineers who can train and develop you to progress into a similar role. The business also operates a call-out rota, which you will join only when experienced enough to carry out reactive maintenance.Responsibilities

Service, maintenance and repair of CHP Power Units - Jenbacher, MTU, Cummins, CaterpillarCovering multiple sites across the regionWork alongside experienced Operations Engineers to train and develop you to progress into a similar roleOn-call and overtime participation as requiredCandidate requirements

Qualified EngineerCHP maintenance experienceStrong mechanical or electrical knowledgeWilling to do overtime and on-callBenefits

£200 per week for being on call - 1 in 6Bonus dependent on performanceMassive company investment in trainingOvertime: £3,000 to £7,000 annuallyNotes
