Position: Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer

Location: Within 2 hours of Peterborough

Salary: Up to -50,000+ - potentially negotiable

Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer required for our client, an established engineering and facilities services company with a strong presence across the industrial and commercial sectors. The company has a long-standing history and provides electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refurbishment, and facilities management services to a range of major commercial and industrial clients.

The Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer will be responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance and fault-finding across a range of industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including chillers, walk-in fridges and freezers, AHUs and cold rooms. The role will predominantly be site-based, covering locations in and around Peterborough, typically within a 2-hour radius. The successful engineer will work alongside the Project Manager and wider engineering team, completing commissioning paperwork, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer Position Requirements

• Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification minimum
• Recognised AC/refrigeration qualification, such as F-Gas, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent
• Strong industrial HVAC, air conditioning and refrigeration background
• Experience carrying out installation, maintenance and fault-finding
• Experience working on chillers, AHUs etc.
• Experience completing commissioning paperwork
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Based within commutable distance of Peterborough

Refrigeration / Chiller Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: Up to -50,000+ - potentially negotiable
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• No on-call requirement
• Company van

• Tools provided or tools allowance
• 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Christmas shutdown (3 days taken from annual leave allowance)
