      <description>Location: Headington | Salary: 90.00-90.00 Daily | Type: Contract | Job Title: Children s Support WorkerLocation: OxfordSalary: £90 - £110 per dayHours: Full time 8.30 - 4pm Mon, Tues, Weds then 8.30 - 3.30pm Thurs and FriPersonal care is required as part of this role.We are looking for a Children s Support Worker who is resilient and nurturing to become part of our unique school community, caring for young people who have severe and complex learning needs and autism. The students are aged 8 - 19, with a cognitive developemnt age of 0-36 months, therefore the curriculum thats followed at the school is similar to the EYFS framework level. The successful children s Support Worker would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.You will be working with a student on a 1:1 basis, but you''ll be based in a classroom environment. Due to the severe learning needs of the students, you will be part of a classroom team, providing regulation and emotional support for 90% of the day.
