The students are aged 8 - 19, with a cognitive developemnt age of 0-36 months, therefore the curriculum thats followed at the school is similar to the EYFS framework level. The successful children s Support Worker would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.You will be working with a student on a 1:1 basis, but you''ll be based in a classroom environment. Due to the severe learning needs of the students, you will be part of a classroom team, providing regulation and emotional support for 90% of the day.
