Childrens Support Worker
MPA Recruitment are recruiting for a Children''s residential Home for children with learning disabilities, complex health needs and who display behaviours which challenge. What does the job entail? Assist with the care and supervision of the children and young people who are resident in the home. Work in partnership with the keyworkers to ensure care plans can be developed. To work with children/ young people and their families, on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions, to identify needs and to achieve positive outcome. To work co-operatively with children''s services, health agencies and other community-based services, to provide the most effective service for the children/young people and carers/families. To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures Criteria- (Essential Criteria for Band 4) Hold a level 3 education qualification in care and1 years'' experience working in a children''s residential setting Registered with NISSC Willingness to do mandatory inhouse training Must complete Enhanced Access NI check yearly.
