Residential Support Worker Location: Aston Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP We are currently looking for Support Workers to join a lovely College in Aston, supporting children and young people in a safe, caring and supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their day-to-day lives. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group support to students during lessons and learning activities. Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Encourage students to develop independence, confidence and social skills. Assist students with communication, participation and daily routines. Work closely with teachers, tutors and other support staff to meet students'' individual needs. Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and student wellbeing. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Follow college safeguarding, health and safety and confidentiality policies. Essential Requirements A caring, patient and supportive attitude. Good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
