Children''s Social Worker - prevention and safeguarding

Our client Northamptonshire''s Children''s Trust is looking for a Children''s Social Worker to join their prevention and safeguarding team.Key responsibilities:Assessing the needs and risks affecting children and families.Investigating safeguarding concerns, including neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse.Developing and implementing child protection and child-in-need plans.Working closely with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies.Supporting families to address difficulties early and improve outcomes for children.Attending case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings when required.Maintaining accurate case records and reports.Typical skills and qualities:Knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures.Strong assessment and analytical skills.Ability to build relationships with children and families while managing risk.Effective communication and multi-agency working.Resilience and sound professional judgment.Benefits of working with RemedyA personal one-one service from your highly experienced dedicated consultant.Top tier supplier across London giving us first access to jobsReferral bonus - up to 250 per person placed.Double payrolls each week.
