Key responsibilities:      Receive and review referrals from the public and professionals  Gather and share information with partner agencies (police, health, education)  Assess risk and make safeguarding decisions  Determine whether cases need further social work intervention  Provide advice and guidance to referrers  Record decisions clearly and accurately within tight timescales  Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment      50% home, 50% office work.
