Oakley Hill Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established local charity based in Newbury, in their search for a Children''s Services Manager to lead and develop a valued service supporting children and young people with additional needs.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager, team leader or education professional looking to make a genuine difference. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis due to an urgent requirement, with the intention of becoming a permanent appointment for the right individual.You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a children''s service, ensuring safe, high-quality and person-centred support for the children and families who use it.Working alongside a Deputy Manager, a team of staff and a dedicated group of volunteers, you will oversee service delivery, staffing, safeguarding, compliance and operational performance.The service supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including complex medical needs, disabilities and behavioural support requirements.Key responsibilities include:Managing, supporting and developing a small team of staff and volunteersEnsuring the safety, wellbeing and positive outcomes of the children using the serviceSupporting safeguarding processes alongside the Designated Safeguarding LeadMaintaining staffing levels, rotas and training complianceBuilding positive relationships with families, carers and external professionalsEnsuring policies, ..... full job details .....
