This role includes working in the child''s family home, and out in the York community. Duties include; Providing consistent and emotional support/reassurance to anxiety distress or behavioural challenges. Assisting and administering with medication, when needed. Assisting with daily activities, including personal care, mealtimes, hygiene and maintaining a structured routine Following and contributing to individual and service care plans, risk assessments, and policies. Safely managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours using NAPPI techniques where necessary. Keeping accurate and timely records, respecting and maintaining customers'' privacy and confidentiality. Promoting a safe, nurturing, structured and stimulating environment tailored to the clients individual needs.
