Children''s Residential Support Worker - Rochdale

We are recruiting experienced Children''s Support Workers to join a residential care home in Rochdale. This role requires staff who are confident working within children''s residential settings and are capable of lone working when required. You will play a key role in supporting children with disabilities, autism and ADHD and sometimes complex needs. The Role Working under the guidance of the Registered Manager and senior staff team, you will provide high-quality support to children and young people, helping them develop independence, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes. You will work alongside a small staff team, providing consistent support and maintaining a stable and positive environment for the young people in your care. You Will: Build positive, professional relationships with children and young people Provide emotional support and guidance Support young people to develop independent living skills Assist with cooking, meal preparation, and household tasks Support with cleaning and maintaining a safe, welcoming home environment Promote positive routines and healthy lifestyles Encourage engagement in education, training, and community activities Support young people through challenging situations using positive behaviour management approaches Work flexibly to provide additional cover as required Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people Support emotional wellbeing and promote positive outcomes ..... full job details .....
