Children''s Residential Support Worker - Bangor
Children''s Residential Support Workers required for a care facility in Bangor, supporting children and young people ages 10-17 with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. This role will be for 6 months with possible extension and offers 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota from Monday to Sunday, with a variety of shifts available depending on the needs of the service. The pay rate ranges from £12.75 to £25.41 per hour, depending on the shift worked and banding level. Shifts Include: 7.15am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, 7.15am-10pm, waking nights and, where required, a combination of long days, waking nights and sleep in shifts. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the young people, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, cooking and cleaning. They will also be required to follow individual care and behaviour support plans, maintain accurate records and work closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people. A UK Manual Driving Licence and CPI training is essential for the role, however, applicants who do not currently hold the training will still be considered, as training can be provided prior to starting the position if candidates can commit to working 6 months in the post.
