The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and resilient Registered Manager to take responsibility for a children\''s residential home in the East Midlands. You will lead the setup, compliance, and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care in line with the Children\''s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.This is a key leadership role that requires strong safeguarding knowledge, excellent people management skills, and a passion for child-centred, therapeutic care.Responsibilities
Fulfil all duties of a Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and statutory regulationsLead daily operations including care planning, safeguarding, health and safety, and quality standardsRecruit, supervise, and develop a motivated staff team, promoting a positive cultureEnsure care plans reflect the social, emotional, educational, cultural, and therapeutic needs of each childAct as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring effective safeguarding proceduresManage resources, budgets, and staffing levels effectivelyBuild strong partnerships with families, local authorities, education providers, and healthcare professionalsRequirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years\'' residential childcare experience, with at least 2 years in a management roleStrong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and Ofsted frameworksProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff teamsExcellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skillsResilience, emotional intelligence, and commitment to child-centred careThis is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Manager to join a highly regarded provider with a strong reputation for quality care.
