Role: Children''s Residential Care Worker - Waking Nights. Location: Telford, Shropshire. Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift Pattern: 10:00pm - 8:00am. Rate of Pay: £14 per hour* (overtime may also be available). Job Type: Permanent. Achelois Group are looking to recruit for Waking Nights Children''s Residential Care Worker to join our team at Nurtured Care Services. We provide a safe, stable and caring environment for children and young people to make their home. Our children and young people''s ages range from 8 up to 18 years old and they have often experienced high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis in their young lives, resulting in them experiencing complex challenges.Responsibilities
Creating positive relationships and meeting the needs of our children and young peopleUsing your experience and skills - further developed with our support and training, you will assist with the care of our children and young peopleAn excellent understanding of safeguardingAn ability to articulate and ensure comprehensive record keepingEssential qualifications
You will need to have had at least 12 months experience working with children/young people (Essential)At least 12 months experience within a children''s residential setting (Essential)Full Enhanced Child DBS check required for this role (Essential)Preferred qualifications
An NVQ/Diploma Level 3, or equivalent, in Children and Young PeoplePreferred - Driver with full UK driving licenceWhat you will receive
