Location: West Midlands Job Type: Full-time PermanentSalary: £60,000 per annumSetting: 5-Bed Home 3 Children Low to Medium Support Needs We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 5-bed Ofsted-registered children''s home in the West Midlands, supporting up to 3 children aged 10 and over with low to medium support needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a small, child-centred service with full backing from an established provider. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the homeEnsure compliance with the Children''s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality StandardsRegister with Ofsted as the home''s Registered ManagerOversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding practicesBuild and lead a skilled, trauma-informed staff teamAct as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the homeLiaise with local authorities, social workers, and other key professionalsFoster a warm, therapeutic environment focused on development, safety, and independenceMonitor and evaluate care delivery, ensuring continuous improvementAssist with budget planning and resource allocation in collaboration with the provider Experience and Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Minimum 2 years'' experience in children''s residential care within the last 5 yearsAt least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial roleStrong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, ..... full job details .....
