Job Title: Children''s Payments Officer Location:Croydon (BWH) - Hybrid Working Contract Type:1 x 6-month contract Hours: 36 hours per weekWorking ArrangementThis is a hybrid role based in Croydon.First 2 weeks: On-site at BWH, Croydon while training is completedAfter training: Up to 2 days per week working from homeAbout the RoleWe are recruiting Children''s Payments Officers to ensure robust, timely, and compliant financial processes across Children''s Services.The role covers supplier engagement, invoice processing, payments, monitoring, and service support, working closely with internal teams and external providers.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier onboarding and set-upProcessing invoices and resolving queriesCorrecting costs and chasing invoices / credit notesSupporting payment runs, emergency, cash, and voucher paymentsRecording and processing children''s savingsCompliance monitoring, recharging, and accruals supportContributing to continuous improvement across the serviceAbout YouYou will have proven experience delivering financial and payment services within a children''s services environment, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.Essential RequirementsStrong understanding of children and families services, finance policy, legislation, and practiceIn-depth working knowledge of children''s finance systems - ideally ContrOCCKnowledge of children''s social care finance legislationExcellent communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skillsAdditional ..... full job details .....
