Childrens Home Registered Manager

Harborough Mews Care Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children s residential home in Northampton.This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, child-focused leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, lead and develop the staff team, and ensure that children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care.The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will:Lead the day-to-day operation of the children s home.Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child-centred care.Lead, supervise and develop the staff team.Ensure effective care planning, risk assessment and behaviour support.Maintain compliance with the Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.Maintain strong Ofsted readiness and drive continuous improvement.Work closely with the Responsible Individual, placing authorities, social workers and other professionals.Promote trauma-informed and relationship-based practice, including PACE principles.Ensure children s wishes, feelings, safety and outcomes remain at the centre of practice.About YouWe are looking for someone who:Has significant experience within children s residential care.Has previous management or deputy management experience within a children s home.Has strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements and the Children s Homes Regulations.Holds, or is working towards/eligible to undertake, the relevant Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification for Residential ..... full job details .....
