Children s Home Registered Manager 1 Bed Home Location: Barnsley Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 per week Salary: Up to £46,581.23 (including Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses) Company: My client has been providing residential care for young people since 1993. They believe in fostering meaningful, professional relationships with those in their care to help them transition successfully into adulthood. Seeking a Registered Manager to take responsibility for a one-bed children s home in Barnsley. The Role As Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in line with legislation, Ofsted regulations and organisational policies. You will lead and inspire a small team to provide safe, nurturing, and effective care tailored to the individual needs of young people. Key responsibilities include: Managing the home in line with legislation, Ofsted SCIFF and safeguarding standards Leading, supervising and developing the staff team, including recruitment, training, rotas and appraisals Overseeing admissions and discharges, ensuring positive transitions for young people Maintaining accurate records, reports and monitoring systems Managing budgets, expenses and ensuring the home environment is safe and well maintained Acting as the key point of contact with external agencies, commissioners and ..... full job details .....
