CareTech is recruiting for a Children’s Home Registered Manager in Runcorn, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE plus £5,000 annual OTE bonus. Closing date: Monday 29 September 2025.About Us

As a Registered Manager, ensure your home is rated at least “Good” by OfstedDevelop Comprehensive Care Plans tailored to each young personBuild and lead the team, coordinating recruitment and induction, planning personal development for staffFoster consultation with young people about the care they receiveAllocate Key Workers and implement care plansMaintain high standards in line with quality standards and the Home’s Statement of PurposeHandle complaints and child protection concernsCollaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to promote welfareParticipate in care planning and review meetingsMaintain a safe culture and a financially managed home aligned to budgetEssential Requirements and Experience

Passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people in careAt least 2 years’ experience in residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 yearsQualifications: Level 3 in Children''s Residential Care is essential. Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred at application; if not held, must be enrolled on Level 5 within 6 months of startingKnowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirementsSkills: Planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and team leadershipCommunication: Strong written and spoken communicationUnderstanding Trauma: Knowledge of needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficultiesDriving license: Full UK licenseWhy Cambian?
