Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the homeSupervising, leading, and developing a team of care staffEnsuring care practices meet Ofsted requirements, quality standards, and legislative frameworksProviding therapeutic, child-centred care to young people who may struggle in larger group settingsPromoting safeguarding, equal opportunities, and a safe, nurturing environmentEssential Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care home (within the last 5 years)At least 12 months’ experience supervising/managing staff in a care settingLevel 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalentStrong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, legislation, and quality standardsExcellent communication and leadership skillsFull UK driving licenceRight to work in the UK with no restrictionsApplicants must be over 21 (industry regulations)All offers are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and compliance with safer recruitment practicesJob Information
