Children''s Care Support Worker

Location: Leeds, UKHours: 12-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week (including weekends and bank holidays)Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£12.50 per hour)About the RoleWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and young people in a residential care home setting. You will play a vital role in supporting their emotional, physical, and social development, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day care and supervision for children and young people aged 5-18.Support children with emotional and behavioural needs, including those with trauma backgrounds.Assist with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, school runs, and recreational activities.Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model.Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans and reviews.Work collaboratively with social workers, therapists, and other professionals.Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.Shift Pattern12-hour shifts (eg, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am)3-4 days per week on a rolling rotaIncludes weekends and public holidays on a rotational basisRequirementsPrevious experience in a care or support role (children''s residential care preferred)NVQ Level 3 in Health andamp; Social Care (Children andamp; Young People) or willingness to work towards itEnhanced DBS check (required prior to employment)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to ..... full job details .....
