Location: Blackpool | Salary: £39/hour | Type: Temporary | Our client Blackpool Council is looking for a children''s social worker to join their Children with Complex Care team. This role requires: 5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, Child & Adult Workforce DBS, any relevant quals as per JDPS Our families, children and young people are at the heart of everything we do in Children''s Services. In Blackpool we believe Children can achieve better outcomes when they are supported by their families and community and as a result we: Work ''with'' families, not ''do things to them''. Are child focussed, but support the whole family via our strengths based approach. Build and nurture trusted relationships with children and families. Be consistent and do what we say we will do. Ensure that when formal intervention is required, we manage it at the lowest possible level. Support our workforce and challenge them to deliver a great service. Encourage our families and communities to be aspirational for themselves and each other. Respect difference in families and communities and ensure we are inclusive. Be transparent and objective in our decision making. Learn from what works and what does not work and keep developing...
